How It All Started

Santos Woodworks began in 2023 as a simple passion for woodworking—an appreciation for the character, warmth, and honesty found in real wood. What started as a personal hobby in a small car garage quickly grew into something more meaningful: a desire to share thoughtfully crafted wooden goods with others who value quality, intention, and timeless design.

We are a family-owned brand, Canadian made and locally sourced, built on strong values of craftsmanship, integrity, and respect for the materials we work with. While Santos Woodworks is hands-on and small-batch by design, the support of family is woven into everything we do—from encouragement and collaboration to shared pride in each finished piece.

Every product we create is shaped with care, patience, and purpose. We work with premium hardwoods such as Black Walnut, Maple, and other carefully selected species, chosen for their durability, beauty, and long-lasting character. Our process is intentionally slow and deliberate, allowing each piece to meet our high standards before it ever reaches your home.

We believe true quality cannot be rushed or replicated. Each item is made with close attention to detail, honoring traditional craftsmanship while creating designs that feel refined, functional, and enduring. Whether it’s a cutting board, chess board, coaster set, or future furniture piece, our work is meant to be used, admired, and passed down.

Though we currently produce in limited batches, our vision extends beyond the present. One day, Santos Woodworks will grow into a dedicated workshop—allowing us to reach more clients while staying true to the hands-on craftsmanship that defines our brand.

For every wooden product sold, we plant 10 trees, helping restore forests and support a more sustainable future. This commitment reflects our belief that craftsmanship and sustainability should go hand in hand.
